Eternal Sonata (Trusty Bell ~ Chopin no Yume)

My preview rating : 8/10
Here’s a game from Bandai Namco on Xbox 360. This RPG in cel-shading narrate the last dream of the famous french composer Fréderic François Chopin (although it seems it is not his dream…). Not only Chopin is a playable character but you’ll be able to play with two other characters (with 2 more paddles if you’ve got friends =p) in a turn-to-turn combat.
Each character have a laps of time while he can move, attack, launch a super attack or give healing items (if you care about your pals =)). When it’s the enemy’s turn, the game allow you to block or counter attack if you’ve got the right timing (Trust me, this is not easy :’( ). Furthemore, the more you play and gain experience, the more combats will be tough : your team’s got a team level and when you level up, you gain handicaps (for example, 4seconds for each turn instead of 5seconds at the beginning).
About the graphic design, this game is absolutely incredible. The background is filled up with colors, sometimes blosoms, sometimes raindrops, sometimes leaves and the camera moves naturally in order to delight us more. And all this scenery is followed by beautifuls melodies inspired from Chopin (of course XD ). And sometimes the cut-scene is cut (XD) by a slide show which tells us more about Chopin’s life. Not only you enjoy a pleasant game but you can be more cultured (OMG) =).
Besides it seems like this game have good question about society or politics (well, it has to be related to Chopin’s life in fact) and I plan to post something about the messages of the game when I finish it.
